She studied Painting (ESAD\u2014Caldas da Rainha Portugal, 2004), Media Art (Master\u2019s at Lus\u00f3fon University, Lisbon, Portugal, 2011), and she holds a PhD in Art (University of \u00c9vora, Portugal, 2016). Her work has been highlighted in shows at the Cultural Foundation of the National Bank of Greece, Thessaloniki, Greece (2020); Fundaci\u00f3 Ludwig,Havana Biennale, Cuba (2019); Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven,Netherlands (2018); Kunstraum Nieder\u00f6sterreich, Vienna, Austria (2018); Click Festival, Helsing\u00f8r, Denmark (2018); esc medien kunst labor, Graz, Austria (2017); Fundi\u00e7\u00e3o Progresso, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil (2015); Gdanska Galeria Miejska, Gdansk, Poland (2015); Matadero, Madrid, Spain (2014);Edith-Russ-Haus f\u00fcr Medienkunst Oldenburg, Germany (2013); CCCB inBarcelona, Spain (2009). Recent residencies and prizes include the 2020 State Scholarship for Media Arts from the Austrian Cultural Federal Chancellery; Artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Canada (2018); Media Ar prize from Edith-Russ-Haus f\u00fcr Medienkunst, Germany (2013). Reis was a PhD fellow from the National Science Technology Foundation of Portugal (2011\u20132015) and is currently a postdoctorate fellow at The Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna funded by the Austrian Science Fund FWF (Programme for Arts-based research). Between 2006 and 2012, she was an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja, Portugal. Since 2015 she has lectured at the University of Art Linz and at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, where she holds a position as a Senior Artist in the Department of Digital Arts. Currently, she is also a guest post-doc researcher at the Weizenbaum Institut at TU in Berlin. Since 2012 she has been a board member of the collective Mz* Baltazar\u2019s Laboratory.<\/small><br> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.patriciajreis.com\/\">>>>website<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taguhi Torosyan<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Taguhi Torosyan (b. 1987, Yerevan, Am) is an artist, curator and researcher based in Vienna, Austria. She is working at the intersection of hacker\/maker cultures, feminist new materialisms, decolonial theory, relational art and pedagogy, and posthuman ecologies. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Critical and Curatorial Studies from AICA-Armenia, and is a PhD candidate in Art and Cultural Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Torosyan is a former visiting fellow at apexart in NYC and former visiting faculty at the Art Theory, History and Management Department of Yerevan State Institute for Theatre and Cinematography. Torosyan\u2019s work has been hosted by springerin.at, Centrale FIES, Dro, Permanent: Georg Kargl and vbk\u00f6 in Vienna, Aalborg University Copenhagen, Schwankhalle Bremen &amp; LOFFT, Leipzig. She has curated exhibitions, programs and workshops with a strong focus on media art, performance and cinema both in institutional setups including Art Factory, Lodz, ICA Yerevan &amp; Nest artist residency and community centre \/ 2012-2015, Studio 20, Yerevan and the Centre of Contemporary Art Tbilisi as well as public spaces across Armenia and beyond. She has contributed to conferences and symposia as a chair, coordinator and speaker, including New Materialist Informatics &#8211; University of Kassel, 2021, Politics of the Machines \u2013 POM Berlin 2021, Transfeminist Hacking Symposium: Spaces, Communities, Practices 2019, POM-EVA Copenhagen \/ Aalborg University 2018, RE: TRACE International Conference for Histories of Media Art, Science and Technology \/ Department of Image Science, DUK and Austrian Academy of Sciences 2017 and International Summer Seminars for Art Curators in 2010. She graduated with an MFA in Transmedia Arts in 2006 (University of Applied Arts Vienna). 2008 she completed her Master&#8217;s at TISCH School of the Arts at New York University and became Digital Art Fellow at Umea University in Sweden. 2009 she founded the feminist hackerspace and art collective Mz* Baltazar&#8217;s Laboratory in Vienna. In 2014 she finished her PhD in Feminist Hackerspaces at the Vienna University of Technology. She held research and Post-Doc positions at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the Vienna University of Technology, Michigan University, Weizenbaum Institut, Universitaet der Kuenste Berlin and is currently the project leader of an FWF research project on &#8216;Feminist Hacking. Building Circuits as an Artistic Practice&#8217; is affiliated with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She is working on an artistic research project at the TU Berlin titled &#8220;Coded Feminisms in Indonesia&#8221; (Berliner\u00a0Hochschulprogramm\u00a0DiGiTal).
